For 2 months, 9 classes were held in Sabah, Melaka, Penang, Kelantan, Sarawak, Perak, Johor and Selangor. Over 200 staffs working in the courier company were trained. Save for several who did not make it to the assessments, all others were certified as first aiders.
Makeup artists and retail store managers get certified in first aid to be prepared for emergencies at their outlets.
12 participants attended a 2-day basic occupational first aid, CPR and AED course and qualified as first aiders. The course was conducted by Chew Hoong Ling and Wong Sin Jie.

We would like to formally invite St. John Ambulance Malaysia to conduct a CPR & AED training session as part of our Emergency Essentials & Awareness (EEB) Workshop in Johor Bahru.
Our objective is to raise public awareness and practical knowledge on how to respond effectively during emergency situations, especially cardiac arrest cases. We understand that St. John Ambulance is currently working with courier companies to organise 9 classes nationwide, and we would be honoured if a session in Johor Bahru (JB) could be included.

Training topic: CPR & AED Awareness and Hands-on Training

Estimated participants: 20 pax
Venue: Provided by us (hall space suitable for training)
Refreshments: Provided by organiser
This workshop will involve participants from our sustainability and community programme, and we strongly believe that training conducted by St. John Ambulance will greatly enhance the credibility and impact of this initiative.
