What space is needed for the in-house course if conducted at our premises?
You’ll need seating and tables for all participants, ideally arranged in a classroom style. For the practical session, each adult manikin requires approximately 4 feet by 4 feet of space, and we provide one manikin for every two participants. Please ensure there’s enough room for both seating and hands-on activities.
What if I don’t have enough space?
If space is limited, you may consider using the Main Hall at our National HQ at RM500 per day, subject to availability. Contact us to inquire about reserving the space for your session.
Do we need to provide meals for trainers and facilitators?
For on-site classes, employers usually provide meals to shorten lunch breaks, as trainers and facilitators may not be familiar with the venue’s surroundings.
Is there any prerequisite to attend the course?
Participants should be at least 16 years old, ideally weigh 40 kg or more, and be able to read and understand both Malay and English.
Will there be a certificate awarded to participants?
Participants who attend at least 80% of the 1-day Awareness of First Aid course will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Those who attend 80% of the 2-day First Aid at Workplace course and pass all assessments will be awarded Certificate of Competency. The certificate is issued as a digital credential secured with blockchain technology. CPR+AED course is for public awareness and no certificates will be awarded.
How soon can I receive the certificate?
Digital credentials are typically issued within 2 to 30 working days, once payment and results have been verified.
How does the 1-day Awareness of First Aid course differs from the 2-day First Aid at Workplace course?
The 1-day Awareness of First Aid course covers the same content as Day 1 of the 2-day First Aid at Workplace course. However, there is no assessment, and participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Can I upgrade to a Competency Certification course after attending the 1-day Awareness of First Aid course?
Yes, you can. Since this course is equivalent to Day 1 of the 2-day First Aid at Workplace course, participants may join Day 2 of the full course and complete all assessments to earn the Certificate of Competency. Please note, this option is available only for classes conducted by the National Headquarters.
