Members of the RELA Bersekutu in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur learnt CPR, AED and basic first aid awareness today. Over 30 participants, including Datuk Seri KK Chai and Datuk Seri Michael Chong were brought through the topics including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, usage of Automated External Defibrillator, Loss of Consciousness, Respiratory Problems and management of wounds and bleeding.
Participants also did practical CPR+AED, roller bandaging and saw demonstrations of recovery position as well as choking management.
The 1-day Awareness of First Aid course is suitable for executives or interested individuals who wish to learn some basic first aid without the hassle of assessments and certification.
RELA also gave out appreciation certificates to all trainers involved – Faiz Mohamad who is a law graduate who is pursuing a diploma in Medical Assistant, Wong Sin Jie, Cheang Chee Kin and Chew Hoong Ling.
