When an international school near SJAM National Headquarters requested us to teach first aid, we said yes. So, about 200 teachers and staffs turned up on a Friday to learn the basics of first aid.
15 SJAM First Aid trainers and facilitators helped to teach and facilitate the practical sessions. Participants learnt First Aid Priorities, Loss of Consciousness, Respiratory Problems, Wounds & Bleeding, Shock, Dressing & Bandages, CPR+AED before lunch.
After lunch, they were divided into groups learning all practicals at 4 different stations. Practicals including Recovery Position, CPR+AED, roller bandaging and choking management.
