Emmanuel Methodist Centre hosted a 2-hour free CPR+AED course. About 30 participants had their laughs in a cheerful and light awareness talk. During practical session, participants were seen singing away the famed song, Staying Alive by Bee Gees, to accompany the compressions.
High quality CPR includes compressing 5-6 cm deep at a rate of 100-120 times per minute, of which the particular song plays at 100 beats per minute.
Ms. Chew Hoong Ling delivered the lecture while Ms. Kristil Tan demonstrated the skill, assisted by Mr. Kevin Peter.
The church is planning another session of fun with CPR+AED!
