St. John Ambulance of Malaysia National Headquarters hosted 28 participants for a basic occupational first aid, CPR and AED course. The 2-day course saw participants learning 13 topics including Priorities of First Aid, Loss of Consciousness, Respiratory Problems, Wounds & Bleeding, Shock, CPR & AED, Medical Emergency, Fractures, Burns & Scalds, Poisoning and practical sessions with bandaging, recovery position and choking management.
All participants were then put through a scenario which allowed them to practise what they learnt throughout the two days.
